| Abstract. | Problem statement. The objective of the article is to create an orthodox tatars estate on the island town of Sviyazhsk territory. The article reviews the architecture of the traditional dwelling and everyday life of orthodox tatars, and also presents a version of this estate placement in the historic development of the island town. Results. The main results of the research for architecture involve comparing the space-planning features of the orthodox tatars estates with other groups of tatars and the appropriateness of this type of estate museum location in the island town of Sviyazhsk. Conclusions. The significance of the results obtained is to justify the new function introduction in the island town of Sviyazhsk, contributing to its tourist development. According to the article authors, the estate of an orthodox tatar craftsman will be interesting for both Russian and foreign visitors to the island town of Sviyazhsk to familiarize themselves with the cultural characteristics of the Republic of Tatarstan through architecture and everyday life of people inhabiting it. |
