Title of the article | Adopting the methods of structural mechanics to the model behavior of the jaw with implants |
Abstract. | A method of definition the limit load applied through the implants to the lower jaw is developed. Double-sided estimate is based on the static and cinematic theorems of limit equilibrium. Maximum load the system can be withstand in this paper is defined by the method of variation of the elastic characteristics, which allows to obtain upper and lower bounds of the limit load without using commonly used complex mathematical apparatus, which is a minimization problem some objective function with nonlinear constraints. The criterion of the material strength of jaw accepted the criterion of Mizes. The problem is solved by finite element method using isoparametric three dimensional finite elements with eight nodes. Developed the technique of splitting the object of research into finite elements given the dimensions of the jaw and implants at various options for the location of implants. The proposed method is studied from the point of view of convergence in the number of elements, of time steps and the number of iterations in the calculation of the limit load factor. |
