Abstract.Considered an example of device of polyethylene pipe with a diameter of 630 mm in length of 3.8 km of «pressure collector» of object «system for wastewater SKRU-1» in Solikamsk, Perm Region, the design and operation of which does not take into account the requirements of the normative sources of temperature operation. During operation of the pipeline during transportation of waste fluids with a temperature above the regulatory the portion of the damaged pipeline was formed in length of 200 m. having a cross section in the form of eight. Disaster Recovery of the section of pipeline was carried out by feeding in the waste fluid under pressure and a temperature above 65 °C, that allowed to return cross-section of the damaged area of the material of pipe in the working position. For trouble-free operation of drainage system was proposed to translate it into a non-pressure dampers by setting the air valve allows you to shoot depression inside the vacuum pipe and not to deform the tube at temperatures limited their normative work. After setting the air valve the pipeline moved into the category of non-pressure sewage systems, ensuring its efficiency in the regulatory temperature ranges take into account the thermomechanical properties of polymer materials applied on the pipe.
