| Abstract. | The study and conservation of the architectural heritage of Kazan is an important issue in the modern history of the city. In recent years have been studied and restored many of the items that compose the historical and architectural value of the city. Вut there are still objects that need to be researched and restored to its original appearance. Urban estate of the XIX century, situated on a street Podluzhny is one of these monuments. The authors were tasked to study the development of the estate from the time of its construction until the early ХХ century, when after several reconstructions formed its final architectural-planning structure. Based on the data of field surveys and measurements, with the involvement of archival documents and historical materials revealed the main stages of development of this urban estete. Tracked changes in the functional assignment of the objects of the estate that led to changes in the spatial organization of its territory. It is established that the main buildings of the estate in the early ХХ century stylistic design, peculiar to classic to eclectic direction. Comparative analysis with simultaneous estates in other districts of Kazan has allowed to establish the similarities in their development. |
