Title of the article | Destruction laminates with a fatigue crack |
Abstract. | The article shows the dependence to describe the rate of growth of normal tension cracks in all areas of the diagram of fatigue fracture of multilayer materials. The problem of a central crack in a laminated composite materials. Elastic fibers in the composite discussed in the article, rigidly linked together along the planes and to the shores of the crack applied symmetrical relative to the plane normal stress. Also suggested that the boundary layers in the laminate are missing, respectively, within the boundaries of each layer of material is considered homogeneous, isotropic and elastic. Also critical crack length considered in the article, was considered less than the thickness of the first layer of material. About durability of multilayer structures judged by durability (number of cycles to failure) layer containing a crack. The formula, which determines the total number of loading cycles required to grow up from the initial crack length to its critical length. Ie This formula will determine the number of loading cycles required for the destruction of multilayer structures. The formula for the investigation of the influence on the durability of the multilayer structure of crack length and thickness of the middle layer (layer) at a constant total thickness of the package. The paper noted that for practical computation durability besides geometrical and structural characteristics of the acting loads, it is necessary to have data on the initial length of the crack and the material constants. |
