| Abstract. | Problem statement. The aim of the study is to identify the features of the formation and development of the architecture of multifunctional profitable buildings in the complex of households in the second half of XIX-early XX century and their impact on the urban structure of Kazan. Results. The main results of the study are that the stages of construction and features of architectural and urban development of multifunctional profitable buildings of Kazan are revealed. Conclusions. The significance of the results for the history of architecture of Tatarstan and Russia is that for the first time the process of formation and development of multifunctional profitable buildings in Kazan as a provincial center has been studied. Common and distinctive features of this process in Kazan in the context of the development of multifunctional profitable buildings in the capital and provincial cities of Russia are revealed. |
