| Abstract. | The new general plan of Kazan provides formation of a landscape-ecological skeleton of the city including large natural territories – the rivers Volga and Kazanka, the lake Kaban, large suburban woods, forest-park wedges and etc. However, the landscape dominants forming the base of skeleton aren't sufficiently carable of providing intracity recreational and ecological requirements because of their non-uniform availability, insufficient quality architecturally-landscape and functionally-planned formation. Inclusion of the small public greenery territories – gardens, squares, parkways in structure into ecological city skeleton as developed and interconnected system of the well arranged spaces, will promote not only increasing ecological stability of a skeleton, but also improving of living conveniences for the population. The analysis of maps and sharts, gathering of the natural data have allowed to make up comprehensive register of the small greenery spaces of Kazan on the base of which the scheme of placing of existing small gardening in city structure for the first time has been made. The analysis of the small greenery spaces of the city has allowed to define the major problems in their organizating. They are insufficient quantity of objects of public small gardening in all administrative disctricts of the city; unreasoned and their non-uniform placing; a lack of quality landscape and esthetic decisions; absence of thought over functional use etc. The results received are focus on working out the recommendations on city-planning transformation of the developed small gardening of Kazan into uniform system of the greenery and well arranged territories. |
