| Abstract. | Problem statement. The purpose of the study is to create the authors classification of open spaces of urban activity. Results. Existing theories and concepts about urban space were studied and analyzed, revealed modern global trends and approaches to the urban spaces classification, three city squares in Kazan were studied and analyzed, compiled the authors classification. Conclusions. The significance of the results for architecture and urban planning is that the compiled classification can be used in urban planning practice in the territories of new buildings when introducing spaces of urban activity. |
