| Abstract. | City markets are remaining to be stable and universal feature of city food marketing and distribution of prime necessity recourses. Market system is not only the way of goods exchange from one to another; it is the machine that ensures the survival of all population. Term «informal sector» was firstly used at 70-s of XX century in the works of English economist Keith Hart. His conception consists in the fact that informal sector provides job to city underclass, including migrants from overpopulated village, that capital-intensive formal sector is not able to involve and those who would otherwise be left without livelihood. This refers to the bigger part of city population, because informal sector involves from 20 to 50 % of people occupied in big cities in developing countries. Original location of historical market squares plays the defining role for development of the whole city through history. The unique trade complex will be built at boundary of Kazan and Zelenodolsk district, where most of the merchandise markets of Kazan will be located. Central markets of Kazan cannot disappear or principally change their business area. Kazan central trade district has potential to become tourist attractive exotic place in the heart of the city. |
