| Abstract. | Problem statement. In recent years, more and more attention has been paid to the reconstruction of existing urban embankments and improving the quality of public spaces. The purpose of the research is to describe the modern approaches of the architectural and urban planning organization of embankments, their introduction into the proposed development concept using the example of the Tabeev embankment in Naberezhnye Chelny. It is necessary to carry out the pre-project and historical analysis of the territory, the identification of actual problems, the identification of priority areas for the organization of the embankment space. Results. The main results of the research consist in identifying the following modern approaches of the architectural and urban planning organization of embankments: urban, landscape, combined, their approbation and introduction into the proposed development model of the territory of the chosen embankment. Conclusions. The significance of the obtained results for the architecture is that the identified approaches of the architectural and urban planning organization of embankments can be applied in the draft concept of development not only of the chosen Tabeev embankment, but also when considering other embankments with similar conditions. |
