Title of the articleMechanoactivation of quick-setting compositions based on electric steelmaking slag
Abstract.Problem statement. The purpose of this study is to study the physico-technical and physicomechanical properties of quick-setting compositions based on fine-grained electric steel-smelting slag produced by PJSC «Izhstal» (Izhevsk, Russia) before and after their mechanoactivation. Results. The main results of the study are that the mechanoactivation of the quick-setting formation allows to increase the time to 20 % in comparison with the results that were not subjected to short-term joint grinding of the constituent components. Conclusions. The significance of the results for the construction industry is that it contributed to the successful introduction of compositions that allow satisfying the conditions for rapid setting and hardening of the mortar mixture. It consists in a short-term joint grinding of all components. Also, grinding positively affects the strength of fast-hardening compositions while reducing the gypsum content in them to 5 %.
