Title of the articleResearch of the influence of epoxy polymer compositions on biostability and dampproof properties of the concrete
Abstract.In spite of the fact that the problem of material prevention from corrosion has a rich history of the investigation, this problem is actual now. In order to prevent concrete construction disintegration must be taken protective measures. One of the most effective methods of concrete corrosion protection is epoxy resin coupling impregnation because these coatings increase the durability, life duration, harshness, impact toughness, endurance, corrosive medium resistance of concrete, decrease the capillary water absorption. These indicators are valuable for the precast structural concrete also for the process technology of roads, shell arches and etc. In this connection the work is devoted to the influence of epoxy polymer compositions on biostability and dampproof properties of the concrete. The research of the listed properties investigated on protected and unprotected samples of the cement-sand grout with standard estimation procedure of water absorption of the cement and indirect assessment of the biostability of the construction materials in simulated mediums. The results have established that one of the promising protection techniques from influence of biologically active mediums is application of the epoxy polymer compositions.
