Abstract.Nowadays the general effective wall construction materials are a perforated cellular brick and a block, including a large-size block, which have low density and thermal conductivity. Therefore these materials make it possible to build entire walls from ceramics only in a number of «warm» regions of Russia and help to avoid the construction of multilayer walls using mineral fiber insulation. Maintenance of buildings with multilayer walls revealed a number of shortcomings, particularly a low durability of the insulating layer. At the same time increase of wall thermal conductivity standards forces to develop more effective wall materials, than the ceramic block is. Thereby the results of our investigation are topical, because for the first time an attempt of gas ceramics standards development was made. This is going to help designers and production engineers to deal with properties of gas ceramics and to apply it for the construction of entire ceramic walls due to its higher competitiveness as compared with the ceramic block.
