| Abstract. | Improving the quality of higher education is impossible without the use of innovative technologies. For higher technical education in all conditions characterized by a tendency to modernization, relating to the achievement of scientific and technological progress. «Water supply and water drainage» department of Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering (KSUAE) is actively working with the organizations and professionals from the construction industry to develop implement innovative technologies in the learning process, equipping laboratories with the latest equipment. An example of this cooperation is the joint work of the department of «Water supply and water drainage» and the Austrian company E. Hawle Armaturenwerke GmbH – leading Austrian manufacturer pipeline armature. As part of this collaboration at the department of «Water supply and water drainage» is open teaching and research laboratory «Innovate technologies, systems equipment of water supply and water drainage». Teaching and research laboratory «Innovate technologies, systems equipment of water supply and water drainage» is a complex of innovative, information means, technology, equipment, technical, material, teaching-learning tools to teach special subjects by «Water supply and water drainage». The article presents the main points, Functional-dimensional scheme of the laboratory, identified the purpose, goals, objectives, content of functional zones, the method of conducting classes in personnel training for the specialty 270112 «Water supply and water drainage».
