Title of the articleDevelopment of thermal insulation coatings and methods for determining their thermal properties
Abstract. In the work above, we consider energy-saving composition filled with microspheres that can be used as an anti-corrosion and heat-insulating coating of pipelines for heating and hot water, as well as duct systems of air heating and ventilation. Proposed composition includes an epoxy resin, an amine-curable hardener. As the reactive rubber impact modifier is used. To improve the fire resistance of the added muscovite mix. In the initial state, the dense fluid composition comprising an epoxy resin, a hardener, muscovite mica and a liquid rubber, which are filled with air or rarefied gas mineral microspheres. After applying the composition on the surface to be protected during the poly condensation reaction forming a solid flexible polymeric backbone, wherein the structured mineral microspheres having a high thermal resistance. It is results in high strength elastic don’t absorb moisture coating that blocks all kinds of heat transfer. Insulating properties of the coating provided by the presence in it of the medium with a low coefficient of thermal conductivity (dilute gas or vacuum). Thus, the binder material and the walls of the microspheres have a sufficiently high thermal conductivity. We present a method for calculating the thermal conductivity and thermal resistance of the energy-saving coatings.
