| Abstract. | The article is telling us about the general specificity of Kazan gardens and squares for the period from XVIII till the beginning of the XX-th century and specifically about rich history of the Lenin garden from its appearance. In the period of development of the territory the bog, the Forge area, parade ground for training of soldiers, the All-Russia scientifically-industrial exhibition, square, a garden – which can be seen now – had been consistently changed. The stylistic direction of a lay-out of this garden, its functional purpose, small architectural forms, dendrology is revealed. While writing this article the archival and bibliographical material was used. This information can be demanded at architectural restoration of the garden. |
