Title of the articleIncreased biological resistance of composites based on lime with fungicidal additives
Abstract. The purpose was to investigate the influence of fungicidal additives on mechanical, fungus-resistant and fungicidal properties of composites based on the construction of quicklime and hydrated lime. At present the problem of biological corrosion is very important. Organisms susceptible to the ravages of almost all materials. The growth and development of materials to worsen the appearance of the material degrades its performance characteristics. Stability of the composite construction to biological corrosion will depend on the composition of its components. Lime is widely used in construction for a very long time and was one of the first binders are widely used to bind the individual stones. Currently, it is based are made mortar, concrete, dry mix, however, lime composites are also subject biological corrosion. Were tested for strength, hardness and accretion by microorganisms using standard techniques. The effect of additives on the fungicidal properties of composites based on lime, and tests on accretion of microorganisms. As a result of special additives produced more resistant to the biological effects lime composites, but this increased performance strength and hardness. More robust construction composites can be used in conditions of biologically aggressive media.
Keywords.Quick lime, hydrated lime, strength, hardness biological resistance, fungicides.
