| Title of the article | The concept of support and development of a national originality in the architecture of Tatarstan. The brief contents of the document |
| Abstract. | The concept is based on the analysis of major factors forming it as the art phenomenon, and will allow to give the recommendations on use of actually original architectural school on the one hand continuing ancient traditions of ancestors, and with another – keep up with modern lines of global culture. In the concept the sections are submitted: town-planning, style, architectural – art originality in modern styles, and also program of its realization. The basic attention in the concept is given to study, preservation and introduction in modern building practice of Republic Tatarstan of national traditions of architecture. At a town-planning level the concept assumes the application of efforts in two aspects: - Account of national traditions and composite features at reconstruction or development newly created structures of town-planning education at different levels (urban, regional, quarter, street etc.); - Formation of characteristic silhouettes and panoramas of cities, settlements and village occupied places. In stylistic aspect it is offered to take into account the following qualities which have been usual in architecture of the tatar people during last millenium: 1. Development in a channel advanced for the time of styles of epoch (IХ-ХVI, ХIХ-ХХ сenturies); 2. Preservation of an originality in a channel of conducting style of epoch, in a basis developing as a combination of northern provincial variant of style with steady medieval Muslim by tradition. 3. Combination of seldjuc style as the basic with the past nomadic traditions and by modern styles of epoch. 4. Perception (recognition) of medieval style Bulgaria and Golden Horde as «a gold century» of development of the tatar culture with search of the appropriate associations and citations from the past. 5. Tolerant attitude to modern influences in the forms which are not contradicting to base values of national character tatar. The modern architecture, both in Russia and abroad, has a rich arsenal of receptions allowing to embody national idea in the modern forms by various ways. To achieve of an architectural – art originality within the framework of modern styles use of the following receptions is offered: 1. Associative – figurative connection with tradition. In a basis of association it can be necessary and generalized representation about any traditions in architectural structures. 2. The symbolical means of art expressiveness, which, as a rule, are shown within the framework of material culture, reflecting any extremely steady layers of spiritual culture. 3. The use of the national architectural forms, which should be realized, adhered to the text of architectural tradition.which is impossible without development of the general theory of the national architectural forms.And this, in turn, requires the knowledge of history of domestic architecture. 4. Decoration – way of a superficial touch to a heritage of the past. It appeals only to external, easily reproduced elements. Nevertheless, to reject such direction completely is impossible. Architectural d?cor has important property – especially steadily associates with culture of the certain people. |
