| Title of the article | On the application of innovative technologies for the specialists training in higher construction school |
| Abstract. | Great work for implication of innovative technologies in educational process is being conducted in the Department of Water Supply and Water Drainage of the Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering. In 2010 active learning room was put in operation. One of its main components is a training game module that includes land relief and low-rise buildings modelling stand for the designing of the water supply and water drainage systems. Game training technique using the stand and a training package were designed. «Water supply and water drainage systems, environmental engineering, and nanotechnology in natural and waste water preparation processes» industry information center for collective use was created on the base of the active learning room. In 2011 «Innovative technologies for the water supply and water drainage systems' equipment» teaching and research laboratory was created. The laboratory is a complex of innovative resources, technologies, equipment, technical and pedagogical training tools for the training of specialists in the field of the water supply and water drainage. «Drainage and purification of the surface runoff» laboratory is currently under development. One of the important elements of the innovative technologies is the use of multimedia technologies in theoretical and practical classes. Multimedia presentations used for special courses were designed for the students training in the «Water supply and water drainage» specialty. All the Department's innovative designes create preconditions for the creation of an innovation platform on its base. |
