| Abstract. | The pedestrian bridges are the important element of environment. Transit is the main function of the pedestrian bridges. Some functions are added to transit. So the functional pedestrian bridges or the recreation bridges are obtained. The article presents the main species of recreation bridges at quantity of three. Every species is especial genesis and it is definite framework or system of city. In this idea it had fundamental reference and it accumulation a different function. The functions of the bridges may to make the active holidaymaker from the passive pedestrian. The first species of recreation bridges it is landscape recreation bridges. It is bridges to relaxation of .pedestrians. The second species of recreation bridges it is living bridges. It is bridges to make the active process of the bridges into interactive process. The third species of recreation bridges it is urbanization bridges. It is bridges to link the different process in the environment.
