| Title of the article | Renovation of former industrial territories and objects of the middle zone into public spaces |
| Abstract. | Problem statement. The purpose of this article is to review the methods of renovation of former industrial territories, the analysis of existing implemented projects. Results. The main result of the study is the model of the system of public spaces on the territory of the former industrial zones of the city of Kazan, the development of which takes into account the design experience. Conclusions. The significance of the obtained results for the architecture is that the proposed direction of development of public spaces on the basis of analysis of world and domestic experience will ensure ecological and economic improvement of the urban space and strengthening of the social interaction of the city’s residents. |
