| Abstract. | Problem statement. The purpose of the study is to identify effective principles for the living environment and public spaces as the element of the organization, used during the redevelopment of coastal industrial zones, which became desolate due to the obsolescence of their technical condition, using the example of the ZAC Seguin – Rives de Seine district of Boulogne-Billancourt region near Paris in France. Results. In the course of the study, the key principles of the space-planning organization of the living environment and public spaces, used in the framework of the redevelopment of industrial areas, taking into account the influence of the proximity factor to the water body, were identified. Conclusions. The significance of the results for the construction industry and urban planning practice lies in the possibility of applying the identified principles for the organization of the living environment and public spaces in the framework of redevelopment and integrated development of coastal industrial zones in the Russian Federation. |
