Title of the article | The impact of climatic factors on materials properties and road building machines reliability |
Abstract. | The problem of climatic reliability assurance is one of the primary ones in machines producing and exploitation. Modern road building machines operating conditions set up claims of materials reliability and strength in a wide range of climatic factors. On the quality of applied materials, their correspondence to the particular exploitation conditions depend reliability, productivity and durability of the machines. The main properties of structural and engineering maintenance materials do not remain constant and change in course of time in consequence of physical chemical impact of the environment where materials operate. Estimating relationship of strengthening properties changings under the influence of climatic factors with structural transformations happening in the material allows to estimate the working capacity area of the material as a part of actual product. Under the influence of climatic factors take place such processes, as loss of strength, softening and durability of the materials, which lead to microdamages of the details working surfaces. These changes gradually amassing course abnormal operation of the details, assembly units and machine as a whole, and this finally leads to decreasing the level of their reliability and increasing work quantity and cost of technical servicing and repair. Guaranteeing a high level of climatic reliability is concerned with carrying out a complex of activities aimed at increasing the mechanical article resistance to climatic impacts. |
