Title of the article | Estimate of trip generation to the residential areas of medium-rise building |
Abstract. | This article is intended to consider the impact of urban development on the road network. As a rule, the amount of built-up areas of the city is the cause of the generation or acquisition of correspondence. Depending on the range and quantity of available buildings in the calculation of the transport region a tendency of formation of traffic on the road network of the city is allocated. The magnitude of these flows depends on many factors, including the distribution of the use of transport (private, public). The general policy of the city authorities, concentrated in the relevant sections of the master plan, on the rational use of the urban area is important. Zoning of the urban area in accordance with growing needs, the allocation of industrial, residential and other areas within the urban area is a very important part of the transport process. Today, large and major cities need to conduct mass screening aimed at identifying the relationship between the type of the territory in a given area and the estimated value of the transport of passenger correspondence arising directly in these areas. Thus, the prediction of traffic flows based on the characteristics of urban area is of practical and scientific interest. |
