Title of the article | USING GALVANIC SLUDGE FOR HARDENING ANHYDRITE ASTRINGENT ACTIVATION |
Abstract. | Anhydrite astringents apply to air classes of astringent materials, that is why articles and constructions based on anhydrite become hard and gather durability in air environment. This sort of material has some advantages, but wide usage is limited by peculiarities of chemical structure. The researches have shown that the possibility of strengthening anhydrite astringents by galvanic sludge has been examined. This sludge is the deviations of galvanic industry production, which are made at Axion-Holding Izhevsk Motor Factory. As a result of the chemical analysis of galvanic sludge, the presence of active components was detected. Binding capacities were found out. To improve the binding capacities, the sludge was burned in the range of temperature 600ч1000 degrees. Then the chemical and physical properties of the sludge were examined. The properties are the influence on speed aquation of astringent, durability hardening by pressure and bending, etc. As a result a low-grade astringent material modifiered by sludge was received. This material has hardened the durability when pressured. The durability received is 30-40 percent harder in comparison with that of check sample. |
