Abstract. | The main objectives of the language regulation in the multilingual educational space of Russia and Tatarstan are forming nationwide civic identity, the development of national cultures and languages, developing the culture of international communication, and strengthening the educational and professional capacity of the state. In the Republic of Tatarstan, there is a hierarchy of nested multilingual educational spaces (preschool and elementary school, secondary and higher education), in which the linguistic regulation implemented in different ways. Language regulation is defined as a system of measures implemented by the state, to maintain or change the status and the corpus of the languages used. Under the status of a language we understand its role in this country and internationally. Under the language corpus we understand its internal structure (phonetics, spelling, grammar, vocabulary, terminology), as well as the ratio of the forms of existence of language (written and unwritten form, the standard language and dialects). The methodological basis of the language regulation conception in multilingual educational space of the Republic of Tatarstan is evolution-synergetic paradigm, and the fundamental principle is multilingualism. The essence of the multilingual educational space is the usage of native language along with other languages as a means of learning and multicultural education. |
