| Abstract. | This paper considers issues concerning perspective imaging. The relation between imaging method and the human vision is shown. The meaning of visual images in an architect’s creation work and the place of perspective in general image theory are defined as well. The most significant stages of perspective development as a science are analyzed; historical data related to perspective theory development with respect to its place in the history of architecture are generalized. Primarily it is the first theoretic research of Ancient Greece, search for practical application of the theory at the age of Renaissance. Besides some modern approaches to perspective application in object imaging, and to the role of this aspect in development of an architect’s competency are reviewed. |
