| Title of the article | Model and method of holding an excursion to building site |
| Abstract. | The essence of cultivation students professional and personal potential in the course of training in higher education institution is revealed in this article. The general features of an excursion are showed its classification is given. Excursions to building sites are considered as internship ones. The aims of these excursions are defined. According to these aims excursion groups are formed. Excursion to building sites is treated as important part of professional education. The main functions of the excursion are: training function, educational function. Organizing these kinds of excursions specific features of building industry should be taken into account. Foreman, civil and sanitary engineer may be a guide during the excursion. The skills which guide should possess are underlined. Such skills as: organizing, sociability, cognition are revealed as important ones. Nine stages of the excursion are marked out. The requirements to excursion-guide are defined. The stage after the excursion (e.g. making report, performing questionnaire survey, holding the concluding conference based on the results of the excursion) marked as an important one. Components and sections of excursion-holding methods are showed. The Structure of model of the excursion, including aim, organization, and process of holding components, is presented. The effectiveness of the excursion held by this method is proved by experimental data. The order of performing the excursion is described. The excursions were organized in two stages. The processed data confirmed increase in interest in relevant subject studied at university along with more activity of students during the classes. Employers had an opportunity to make student acquainted with production process, to advertise future workplace. |
