| Title of the article | Moscow Festival «Ekotektura» – environmental workshop for architects in Russia |
| Abstract. | Green building is actively developing in the world. One of the activities arranged for the promotion of environmental principles of architecture in Russia, became an international festival of live houses, which took place in two stages: a lecture at the design studio ARTPLAY and master classes in creative estate «Guslitsa» from 26 to 30 September 2012. The lecturers were masters of «green» architecture Senosian Javier (Mexico), Sadahiko Nishiyama (Japan), Ken Yeang (Malaysia), Christian Mьller (Switzerland), Anastasia Kozhukhova (Russia / UK) and others. The themes of the lectures were: «Organic Architecture» by J. Senosian, «Northern Housing Hokkaido and ecological housing» and «Complex objects, such as hot springs (Onsen)» by S. Nishiyama, «Vertical design metropolis» by K. Yeang and «A holistic approach to the development of ecological design» by C. Muller and others. The lectures were a theoretical framework of the festival, and the practical part was done in the form of project master class studio Nabil Bin Ahmad. The topic of the master class was modeling infrastructure of modern skyscrapers on how Ken Yeang. Nabil Bin Ahmad proposed to apply the project approach, used the studio Ken Young in the development of their projects. The essence of it is to extract the four main components of ecological architecture, which corresponds to four colors: green – plants, blue – water, gray – infrastructure and red – the person. None of these components are considered separately, one can’t exist without the other. Result is the concept of the complex with a model made by team of architects, students and teachers. |
