| Abstract. | Nowadays the interest to the Bible as a source of scientific interpretations has increased; investigations of the Saint Scripture texts in different scientific fields are carried out. The purpose of this article is an attempt to comprehend the information about biblical architecture and settlements from the exegetic positions. The historical and architectural analysis of the biblical texts about architecture shows the absence of contradictions with the well known historical facts and proves the compliance with the archaeological discoveries. From the point of view of world genesis the signs of biblical settlements and buildings are traced in cult constructions and in structure of many historical cities in all periods of their development. |
