Title of the article | Modelling of the effects of innovative energy saving solutions for the construction of detached houses |
Abstract. | At the present time the problem of energy efficiency improvement is of immediate interest in construction sphere which is one of the most important sectors of national economy. Besides, the higher rates of modern building construction predetermine the increase of man impact to the surrounding environment. Consequently, high efficiency energy-saving technologies should be implemented in construction sphere for the raise of quality of living and economic performances as well as reduction of negative impact of construction projects on the environment. In this article the definition of energy efficient construction is represented and the methods of energy efficiency raise in building construction are described. Special space-planning, constructional, engineering and technical solutions are included in these methods. The main characteristics affecting the energy efficiency improvement are the application of enclosure structures with hire rate of thermal-insulating properties and installation of ventilating system with heat recuperation. It should be noted that the sustainable way of energy efficiency raise in construction is the combination of three main factors, such as economic efficiency, environmental compatibility and the implementation of modern hire technologies. According to the thermotechnical calculations of enclosing structures the comparison of coefficients of thermal transmission and specific heat characteristics for traditional and energy efficient houses was examined. As a result of investigations the model of energy efficient house was described. By making use of the model it is possible to identify the class of buildings energy efficiency in accordance with the level of structural heat loss and heat loss for infiltrating air warming. |
