Title of the article | The technology of construction of monolithic building envelope of polystyrene concrete |
Abstract. | Problem statement. Expanded polystyrene concrete is an effective heat-insulating material, used for the most part as wall blocks. Today the increased interest in monolithic construction creates the need to develop new and improve existing technologies for the use of monolithic expanded polystyrene concrete in wall structures. The purpose of the study is to develop an efficiency construction technology of monolithic expanded polystyrene concrete building envelope. Results. The model of large-panel formwork made of ABS-plastic was developed for concreting monolithic walls using an expanded polystyrene concrete mix. The technology of erection of monolithic enclosing constructions of buildings from expanded polystyrene concrete is offered. Technical and economic indices are determined. The construction schedule of monolithic structures from expanded polystyrene concrete, reflecting the timing and sequence of production, is also presented. Conclusions. The significance of the results obtained for the construction industry is the ability to reduce the complexity of construction and installation work on the construction of cost-effective monolithic building envelope. |
