| Abstract. | Problem statement. Identify the characteristic principles of the location of urban sculpture in open public spaces of the architectural environment. Results. Deduced the basic principles of the sculpture’s location in the open public spaces in the architectural environment: domination, integration, symbiosis, destruction and nomadism. Conclusions. The significance of the deduced principles for the theory and history of architecture lies in the fact that the formulated concepts based on the relationship between the elements of the «environment-sculpture-human» system represent a kind of «mirror» reflecting the contemporary interaction between the architectural environment, society and the art of sculpture. |
