Abstract. | In the given work experimental researches in volume trays have been planned and spent. In laboratory conditions samples weak clay grounds, reinforced by vertical flexible elements have been tested. As reinforcing elements sandy piles have been accepted. For manufacturing of reinforcing elements into soil paste strictly vertically hammered in a thin-walled tube in diameter of 8 mm with the peaked core inside. On reaching the set depth the core took, and a pipe cavity filled with sand. Tests began after 7 days after manufacturing of reinforcing elements. Loading to a file was transferred through a rigid metal stamp in diameter by of 160 mm, pressure under a stamp was increased steps on 25 kPa. On the basis of results of the spent researches the engineering approach to calculation is developed. By the offered simplified design procedure it has been calculated predicted a deposit of a file of the weak clay ground reinforced by sandy piles. Divergences between predicted settlement values and values a deposit on experimental data has made a deposit to 50 %. This results from the fact that at the given technique secondary consolidation and as it has been told above, the share deposits falling to secondary consolidation is not considered, for water saturated clay grounds can make 50 % and above. |
