Title of the article | Structural ceramics modified with technogenic isostatic graphite |
Abstract. | Problem statement. The purpose of the study is to identify the effect of aqueous dispersions of technogenic isostatic graphite on the structure and properties of building ceramics. Results. The main results of the research are to confirm the change in the structure of the ceramic matrix and increase its strength as a result of the introduction of ultra- and nano-dispersed graphite. Ceramics with graphite particles dispersed in an aqueous medium and stabilized with C-3 superplasticizer in an amount of 0,005 % by weight of loam have the maximum strength characteristics. After drying, the compressive strength of the modified samples increases by 40 % compared with the control sample, after firing at 950 ° C – by 50%. Conclusions. The significance of the results obtained for the construction industry is to establish the optimal concentrations of graphite in structural ceramics to increase its strength characteristics, as well as to identify effective types of stabilizers of graphite dispersions. |
