Title of the article | Experimental investigation of the characteristics of a centrifugal ejection air distributor |
Abstract. | At the present time in our country and abroad in order to increase efficiency of air-heating systems, ventilation and air conditioning of public and industrial buildings is widely used recycled air, which is taken from the room and is filed through the air ducts into the mixing section of the supply center by operating of an additional fan or vacuum, generated by the main supply fan. The proposed air distributor allows the use of warm air of the room to heat the supply air without using of return ducts and fans. The difference between this centrifugal diffuser from the usual is that the air is twisted in a special guide chamber. Coming out of the diffuser the vortex jet injects the ambient air, it moves rapidly and quickly damps. Thereby it can be supplied minimal amount of air into the premise, but more heated or cooled in comparison with conventional diffusers. The results of experimental determination of the resistance and the ability of ejecting of the centrifugal air distributor depending on its geometry are presented in this paper. The data obtained allow to define the required parameters of the design and to create the method of calculating of air distributors. |
