Title of the article | Computer optimization of grain compositions building composites based on cement-mineral mixtures |
Abstract. | Today the construction industry consumes more resources than any other industry. The requirements for building materials are constantly growing. The principal trend is to achieve high technical and economic performance of the materials. The process makes the researches to solve several problems such as the development of a composition, formulation, processing method and many others. The rapid development of physical, physicochemical and mathematical techniques of structure, technology and material properties simulation is evident to be predicted. Composite building materials with several components of different properties are actively being developed. To get building materials with required characteristics it is necessary to evaluate such properties and know how to adjust them. The application of computer aids helps to solve many tasks of modern construction material science in mathematical modelling, property prediction, automated analysis, etc. The article discusses the algorithm of selecting the optimal filler grain-size composition by generating random volume fractions. The method allows calculating the optimal quantitative blend composition including up to 100 source components. The program is based on the algorithm of approximating the composition being calculated to the «ideal» one described with the well-known mathematical distribution equations of Fuller, Funk-Dinger, et al. The article analyses the algorithm mathematics. The experimental data confirming the positive method effect, the strength increase in compressing carbonate filler-based fine concrete samples, are provided. |
