Title of the article | The research of bearing capacity and deformation of sandy ground, reinforced by pressure cementation |
Abstract. | Nowadays, in order to improve the physical and mechanical characteristics of the base ground is often use pressure cementation method, especially in strengthening the base ground of reconstructed buildings. In injecting cement mortar into the low permeability ground under the pressure, mortar enters the weakest zones of array and creates rigid reinforcing elements of the solidified mortar. Zones of array, in which the mortar has not penetrated, are also amplified, contracting and sealing under the influence of the injection pressure. The authors conducted laboratory studies of the stress-strain state of the sandy grounds reinforced by pressure cementation, taking into account the work of grouting element in ground. Researched the character of spread of the reinforcing cement mortar during a gradual increase of the injection pressure; pattern changing of physical and mechanical properties of the ground array, depending on the amount of injectable mortar. Proposals for determining deformation modulus array of reinforced ground and the calculation of the bearing capacity of grouting element are given. |
