Title of the article | To the inhibition effect of the strength crack with shrinkage cracked at cement stone |
Abstract. | The electronic microscope with a magnification of about 100...10000 times was used in this research. In several standard of mortar samples of size 30?30?5 mm were made of artificial cracks with polyethylene pellicle thickness of 0,1 mm, Length of cracks was ?10 mm. After hardening of more than 250 hours in samples appeared shrinkage. The attitude crack width to length amounted 0,001-0,008 width. Some cracks formed geometric shapes: triangles or quadrilaterals. The shrinkage cracks are typical in the ferroconcrete elements of constructions and appear before loading. This is due to thermal expansion in the hydration process and the emergence of a nonuniform temperature field and pressure of water vapor in pores and capillaries. The possibility of using methods of fracture mechanics to determine the length of shrinkage cracks was shown in this work. |
