Abstract. | Problem statement. The purpose of the field tests is to study the effect from multiple repetitive cyclic loads on the bearing capacity and the settlement development of the plate-pile foundation. Experimental studies of this type foundations were mainly carried out under short-term and stepped static loads. Results. As a result of the research, data were obtained on the stress-strain state of the soil mass in the between pile area and under the lower end of the piles, as well as information on the change in the forces in the piles under cyclic loading. Conclusions. The obtained results significance for the construction industry is that determining the effect of cyclic loading on the behavior of plate-pile foundations elements in the future opens up the possibility for creating a method for calculating the settlement and bearing capacity that takes into account the influence of cyclic load on plate-pile foundations. |
