Title of the article | Formation of the architectural environment of student campuses in the context of sustainable development |
Abstract. | The study examines the problem of forming the properties of a sustainable architectural environment, which is one of the countrys priority tasks and outlined in the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals. Modern university campuses, including dynamically developing urban and suburban areas, require new approaches to their environmental organization, including defining the directions for the development of sustainable architecture. The purpose of the work was to determine the trends in the architectural formation of university campuses, which make it possible to provide criteria for assessing the sustainable development of the environment. The research objectives included: formulating the concept of sustainable design of student campuses; identifying the factors that influence the formation of a sustainable architectural solution; analyzing design techniques that contribute to the sustainable development of university campuses; proposing criteria for assessing the sustainability of the environment in an algorithmic approach. As a result of the study, evaluation criteria for sustainable design of the environment of university campuses were formulated, determining the main directions for the development of the scientific and educational environment. An algorithmic approach to the use of these criteria in information models of universities is proposed. The conclusions of the work are presented by the formation of terminology for sustainable design of university campuses, on the basis of which trends in the sustainable development of their architectural environment are identified and a number of criteria for assessing the information model of a university campus are proposed. |
