| Title of the article | An integrated approach to transport infrastructure development in the city of Tyumen |
| Abstract. | Problem statement. The main problem of the formation and development of the urban environment of large cities is the process of development of their street and road networks. The most significant aspect of effective traffic management in the streets of the city is the consideration of transport infrastructure from the point of view of an integrated approach. Particular attention should be paid to the fact that optimizing one element can only temporarily reduce the load on the road network, but not solve the problem as a whole. The purpose of the work is to create an effective transport framework scheme with the proposed construction facilities. The tasks of the study are the analysis of promising development areas, consideration of a schedule with the current situation and expected effects, schematization of interchanges, assessment of the current situation and mapping of specific construction projects in the city of Tyumen. Results. The authors propose to consider an integrated approach to infrastructure development, which makes it possible to create a more efficient and convenient system for all road users. The study highlights the need to take into account various factors when planning the development of the road network, the importance of evaluating the effectiveness of proposed measures after their implementation and the need to make adjustments in case of unsatisfactory results. The factors influencing the development of infrastructure are described. The ways to solve traffic congestion have been identified, including the construction of a new ring road, increasing the number of continuous traffic directions, eliminating dead ends, and reconstructing the busiest intersections. Conclusions. The presented directions of main streets and roads facilitate the fast and efficient movement of vehicles across the city. It is proposed to consider the street and road network as a framework of main and latitudinal directions with design and construction facilities for infrastructure development. |
