Title of the article | Assessment of corrosion resistance of the steel armature in a modified concrete |
Abstract. | Despite the decline in the production of concrete caused by the global economic crisis, remains the most popular building material and concrete structures are the basis of modern industrial structural and civil engineering. From other building materials he has process ability, good mechanical properties and durability. Improved properties of concrete can be used modifiers. However, in this case, some of the additives used may have a negative impact on the steel of reinforcement. This article presents the results of testing the corrosion resistance of reinforcement in concrete containing additives «Plast», production company «HimFrost», that reduce water consumption in concrete. According to the obtained results, plasticizer «PLAST» has no adverse effects on the corrosion of reinforcement in concrete. Weight loss for samples of reinforcement in concrete without additives after 180 days amounted 9,1356 gr/m2, and in the concrete with the additive 9,3878 gr/m2. For both samples, the results of the test match the requirements of GOST R 52804-2007 and does not exceed 10 g/m2. Higher loss of mass of the samples reinforcement in the concrete with the additive «PLAST» is obviously connected with the fact that when plasticization is released water, which further leads to the redistribution of porosity increase of capillary pores, and this, in turn, increases the permeability of concrete. |
