Abstract. | Problem statement. The purpose of the article is to determine optimal orientation of buildings for the design of housing estate, taking into account the requirements of natural air exchange of premises in a climate of the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Results. The main results of the research consist in determining the optimal orientation of sectional residential buildings, taking into account the climate of the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, in order to capture the wind pressure and, consequently, improve the quality of the natural air exchange in residential premises. The influence of planning decisions of housing estate on the natural air exchange of premises in a specified climate. Conclusions. The significance of the research results for urban design and architecture consists in the obtaining data about optimal orientation of sectional residential buildings for designing buildings with regard to the prevailing winds in the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky for maximum trapping of wind pressure. The obtained data will most fully take into account all driving forces of natural air exchange to improve the quality of indoor air in residential premises. |
