| Title of the article | Methods of experimental research to value for the creep of the wood |
| Abstract. | Problem statement. In order to take creep into account, there is a need for experimental studies of the strength of the wood with a prolonged effect of the load. Results. It is possible to calculate the total relative deformations of wood in the tests for transverse bending taking creep into account. A technique for testing specimens for transverse bending is proposed. Conclusions. The importance of the proposed methodology for the construction industry is to form an approach to the definition of differentiated values of the modulus of elasticity of wood, depending on operational factors and the duration of the load. The obtained results will allow to take into account objectively the creep process of wood when calculating wooden structures. |
