Title of the article | Mathematical model of the interfaced problem of heat exchange of the twirled turbulent liquid flow in the spring-twisted channel based on the Menter turbulence model |
Abstract. | The article considers the steady-state turbulent flow of a viscous incompressible fluid in a spring-twisted channel. The surface of such a channel is a spring which is rigidly fastened coils. A mathematical model of conjugate heat transfer problem based on the Reynolds averaged equations of motion, continuity, energy and thermal conductivity of the channel walls with boundary conditions is developed. To close the system of equations two-parameter model of turbulence Menter is used, which is in all of its qualities is one of the best currently existing models of turbulence. Considering the geometry of the given channel, the mathematical model equations written in a cylindrical coordinate system. Substitutions, allowed to write the equations in dimensionless form are proposed. Numerical implementation of the resulting model will let to determine the velocity field, pressure and temperature in the flow of Newtonian environment in the spring-twisted channels and to clarify the methods of engineering calculation of heat exchange equipment. |
