Title of the article | Investigation of the influence of temperature impact on the work of fiberglass reinforcement in concrete structures |
Abstract. | Problem statement. To study the effect of temperature on the reinforcement rod made of fiberglass, as well as on the bearing capacity of beams reinforced with fiberglass composite rebar (FCR). Preparation of recommendations for the protection of the FCR in the structure from thermal effects. Results. The experimental data of strength and deformation characteristics of FCR, the results of tests of beams reinforced with FCR, according to the scheme of 3-point bending, taking into account and without taking into account the thermal effects, as well as the percentage of decrease in the strength of beams reinforced with FCR, due to heat treatment. Conclusions. The significance of the results for the construction industry is the possibility of expanding the scope of application of concrete structures reinforced with FCR. Based on the results of experimental studies, the analysis of the results obtained and recommendations for the protection of FCR in concrete structures from high temperatures were given. |
