| Abstract. | The article is devoted to the analysis of contemporary concepts of architecture and art synthesis of different authors and the integrating role of art in the creative work of an architect. Integration interactions are revealed in various interconnected directions: environmental, functional, and figurative-symbolical, – by the analysis of individual creative concepts of masters of modern architecture. Each architect develops an author’s vision, his own individual plastic language as a personal comprehensive system of methods and principles. The author treats the concept of each architect as a synthesizing kernel in the interdisciplinary cultural and scientific space, and also in a context of the urban environment. Revelation of a communicative potential an author’s approach possesses of is an important aspect of the article. The architectural-art synthesis is treated as an instrument for a dialogue between architect and customer (real or potential); between architects of various schools and convictions; between architectural designs in the urban space. The article pays special attention to cultural objects (museums, galleries, art centers, concert halls, art schools, outdoor urban environment), which manifest an individual creative style of an author more frequently than others. Creative concepts and modern designs of R. Meier, K. Portzampark, P. Eizenman, J. Hertsog and P de Merron, R. Kulhas and Z. Nuvel are considered from a position of integrated synthesis of the architect’s individual language, a historical and cultural context and an artistic concept of a product. |
