| Abstract. | Leon Krier – one of the most influential architects and urbanists of our time. His writings and drawings have had a profound influence on all those who seek to recapture the successful techniques of place-making that stylistic modernism so deliberately repudiated. Some aspects of the New Urbanism and different types of structural components of modern city are considered. L. Krier works should be a vital tool in the renaissance of the art of building cities that are pleasant and agreeable to live in, an art that we are in danger of losing. |
