Abstract. | Problem statement. The article deals with reflecting surfaces integrated into the spatial environment of the city. The task is to identify the main stages in the evolution of reflecting surfaces. Denote the levels of the spatial system of the city from the point of view of the use of reflecting surfaces in it. Based on domestic and foreign practice, to analyze the techniques of visual transformation of the spatial environment of the city on the basis of the properties of reflecting surfaces and their influence on the determination of the atmosphere of the environmental solution of urban spaces. Results. The main result of the study is the identification of the main types of visual transformation of the spatial environment of the city (multiplication, increase, fusion and deformation of architectural objects and the subject matter of the environment). Of particular importance is a brief overview of the placement of reflecting surfaces in architectural practice (integration of the plane of the earth in the plane, in the subject forms of urban design, in a separate architectural volume). Identification of the main stages of the evolution of reflecting surfaces. Conclusions. The significance of the obtained results for the architecture consists in creating highly comfortable, emotionally saturated, actively interacting urban spaces. A variety of possibilities for integrating reflective surfaces with architectural forms and objects of urban design and visual transformation based on the basic properties of reflective surfaces. |
